Black Mariah are an electro-rock band from London, who mix live instruments with dirty electronica. They will be performing a special stripped down laptop set at Bleepfest, with perhaps a guitar or two thrown in for good measure.

As a full five piece band, Black Mariah have been playing around London for two years now, and supported artists such as Turin Brakes and the Fun Lovin Criminals. In 2005 they were chosen to play Virgin Megastore as part of the John Peel Day tributes and made the national press. black mariah uk

Casa Electro Novo
Pitch shifted voices, dirty guitar riffs, break dancing, and heavy dance beats coming out of a Samsonite suitcase are what you can expect from Casa Electro Novo as this one man show goes from Vegas to Electro-Rock high speed! casaelectronovo de

a lot of granular sounds (bleeps? :)) and atmospheric synths while keeping it fairly beat heavy.

Ekul is the project of Luke Callaghan (Sydney, Australia). Creating a mix of improvised electronics and quiet atmospheres. Collages of electronic beats and found sounds overlap and interact making new and unstable sound shapes and structures somewhere between organic electronics and broken digital mechanics. Using MAX/MSP and laptops connected to game joysticks, Ekul has created a performance interface that allows for hands on control and manipulation of audio information and live sounds. ekul au,

... I'm a part of the band Amy Blue that has been impersonating both The Smashing Pumpkins and Nine Inch Nails on file sharing networks, we got a lot of press (MTV, NME, an article and interview in Spin, lots of mp3blogs) and a personal message of encouragement from the Pumpkins via a press release at the end of December so people will still remember that. My own stuff has had great endorsements from Ian of Death In Vegas and Nina from Obscura (Andy Wetherall's other half) and I'll be working on the soundtrack to indie director Colin Bishop's next film. evol i uk

Explorations in Tape
what I do is explore various aspects of tape as a medium and tape players as tools so perhaps ' EXPLORATIONS IN TAPE' could be suitable, yes that's my name..

Fe_bac
energetic utterly chaotic, diuretic glitchcore / eletro beakcore, with a light sprinkling of noiZe muzak...

Hailing from the urban sprawl of south west London's Gotham and undoubtedly influenced by the interception of military blips and dashes in his current turf of Portsmouth. The music is a balance between the coherent and melodic and the utterly mind blowing complexity of high-tech CPU madness. With varied influences discernible such as the wrong music cru, venetian snares and Squarepusher to name but a few. fe_bac manages to come up with his own inimitable style that can hold any crowd's attention, captivating the audience with the intricacy of his sampling and source material. If you like messy IDM where pop culture meets industrialism then this will be for you. fe_bac uk

Jack Shirt is a songwriter who sometimes sings and more often explores the one-man band possibilities that digital mediums have to offer, both within the process of composing and during live performance. His work varies from acoustic, waltz flavored, idiosyncratic pop, to cinematic, miniature-orchestral, to acousmatic, guitar layered noise and at times improvisational nonsense, using anything within grabbing distance. jack shirt gr

Lifeloop uses a mixture of concrete and electronic audio material, resuscitating the dead and forgotten sounds of daily life. Since 1999 he gathers recordings of his surrounding soundscapes, then cuts, filters, converts them by digital means into aural noise. Structure to chaos - to structure again. He is careful not to restrict himself within the standard sequenced rhythms or melodies. lifeloop de lifeloop.org

'L.O.Freq are a London based recording collective inspired by the likes of Portishead, Radiohead and Tricky. Their debut album is released in late Aug/early Sept 2007. They perform acoustic gigs, electronic sets and DJ around London regularly. Their debut release was as the only unsigned band on 2006's much anticipated BBE 'Exit Music' album of Radiohead covers alongside Matthew Herbert, Cinematic Orchestra and RJD2. Their cover of Blowout is also due for release on the Lost & Found compilation in May 2007 alongside Lou Rhodes, Nerina Pallot and Ed Harcourt. The core members are producer and songwriter Jamie Perera and singer and songwriter Reeta Loi. They have recently been selected by Converse Music as one of the top 3 unsigned bands of 2006 and supported Hot Club De Paris on the Converse Music tour. They love writing, writing songs, playing, playing guitar, speaking in silly accents, recording weird noises, playing gigs, banging drums and just generally anything musically inclined.'' l.o. freq uk

I am a Italian musician, composer and sound artist located in Berlin. My performing style is charaterised by mostly in real time synthesized sounds or mixing of self made samples, drone sounds and/or complex polyrhythmic sequence textures. For bleepfest berlin I will play with computer internal audio feedbacks a special ambient noise improvised composition: "Magma". Sometime soft and delicate, most often loud and powerful. Maybe also a bit mysteriously. Magma

Pablo Perezzarate's soundscapes are like listening to a constantly evolving brewing pot. Using recordings from travels around the world and pre-recorded textures of synthesized sound, voice or percussion, he randomly throws it all in, creating a thick blend of cultures and music; a journey through sound into to the heart of our globalized idenities.

Pablo last year graduated from the Music and Visual Arts dergee course at Brighton University. He is currently a Brighont-based artist specializing in Live Art, photograpy and Sound Art.
